Hi, I'm Abby!

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a Freshman at Emporia State University. I have performed on Colorguard teams for the past three years (2025-26 ESU Marching Hornets and 2023-2025 MSHS Mavericks), in addition to dancing (i.e., tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater) for more than 12 years, including being a member of the award-winning RISE Dance Arts & Co. Competitive Dance Team for five years! I also participated in multiple productions for the MSHS Drama Club and Wichita Children's Theatre!

​I love animals of all kinds (especially dogs). My personal fur babies include three dogs – Rémi, a 155 lb. Great Dane, Darby, a 65 lb. Weimaraner, and Annabelle, a 15 lb. “Schweenie” – Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix; so I’m comfortable with ALL breeds and ALL sizes in both my personal life and pet sitting. I will tackle any challenge thrown my way. I even have experience with other pets, including cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I am always willing to care for other animals if you have any needs.

 

I started – MyPetFriendsICT – as my very own local pet-sitting and homemade treat company in 2023 to help raise money for my dance and colorguard activities, in addition to allowing me to pay for my own travel with my Maize South High School Senior Class over the Spring Break of 2025 for a nine-day educational trip to London & Paris. After I graduated in May 2025, I decided to continue my pet-sitting services to help pay for college while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSE) from Emporia State University (ESU), where I plan to continue my passion for performing in Colorguard and Dance. I hope to participate in a Study Abroad Program while attending ESU.

I am insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance LLC. I’m diligent, hard-working, and caring! I am available before and after my college classes daily, in addition to evenings, overnights (scheduled in advance), weekends, and holidays! 

 

I have been around pets my whole life! I understand their need for attention, affection, and love when their humans are absent. I am more than happy to help with your fur babies, whether it’s scheduled drop-in visits for feeding, watering, and social/playtime or booking overnight stays to keep them well taken care of, potty breaks for the busy pet owners, regular dog walking, or some homemade treats to spoil your pets, I will be there for you! Before I take care of your animals for the first time, I require a meet and greet to meet you and your animals and learn what you expect of me.
