I'm a Maize South High School student. I started MyPetFriendsICT in 2023 as a local student-owned small business passionate about providing quality Pet-Sitting & Homemade Pet Treats to pet owners throughout the Northwest Wichita / Maize, KS area neighborhoods.

My Story

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a Senior at Maize South High School. I have danced (i.e., tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater) for the past 12 years and have been a Dance Team Member for RISE Dance Arts & Co. Competitive Dance Team for the past five years! I am also a Colorguard Member & Section Leader for the Maize South High School Band Colorguard and have participated in multiple productions for the MSHS Drama Club and Wichita Children's Theatre! I love animals of all kinds (especially dogs). My personal fur babies include three dogs – Rémi, a 155 lb. Great Dane, Darby, a 65 lb. Weimaraner, and Annabelle, a 15 lb. “Schweenie” – Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix; so I’m comfortable with ALL breeds and ALL sizes in both my personal life and pet sitting. I will tackle any challenge thrown my way. I even have experience with other pets, including cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I am always willing to care for other animals if you have any needs.

I started – MyPetFriendsICT – as my very own local pet-sitting and homemade treat company in 2023 to help raise money for my dance and color guard activities, in addition to allowing me to travel with my Maize South High School Senior Class over the Spring Break of 2025 for a nine-day educational trip to London & Paris. After I graduate in 2025, I hope to continue my pet-sitting & homemade pet treats to help pay for college while pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)—Majoring in Business Studies with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a Minor in International Business. Additionally, I hope to participate in a Study Abroad Program. I am currently looking at local universities here in Kansas where I can continue my passion for performing in Colorguard and Dance.

I am insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance LLC. I’m diligent, hard-working, and caring! I am available before and after school daily, in addition to evenings, overnights (scheduled in advance), weekends, and holidays!

I have been around pets my whole life! I understand their need for attention, affection, and love when their humans are absent. I am more than happy to help with your fur babies, whether it’s scheduled drop-in visits for feeding, watering, and social/playtime or booking overnight stays to keep them well taken care of, potty breaks for the busy pet owners, regular dog walking, or some homemade treats to spoil your pets, I will be there for you! Before I take care of your animals for the first time, I require a meet and greet to meet you and your animals and learn what you expect of me.
